Psalm 78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again. We will be returning to this verse and others as the Lord reveals what is hidden from my eyes. Job 10:4Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? God has to anoint our eyes of flesh to see His words as he sees them. Let’s look at a verse of were God opened the Spiritual eyes of a woman, otherwise she and her child would have perished. Genesis 21:19 And God opened her [ Hagar the Egyptian] eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. The well was there all the time: she just couldn’t see it. God has the living water hidden in His word; we just cannot Spiritually see it. Without this living Spiritual water being granted to us we die in our sins. Amos 5:24But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Spiritual waters equal Spiritual judgment. Physically while taking a shower: water washes the filth down the drain. God’s word Spiritually will wash away our wicked own judgment about His word. John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.A judgment has to do with how we see things: rather physical or spiritual. In everyday conversations, unknowingly we are always judging what is coming out of another person's mouth. I met another artist the other day, and he told me that news reporters were scrambling to see his work. I knew or judged in that very moment he was lying. Job 34:3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat. It’s not that I really cared to hear his story, but God’s wisdom makes discerning people wickedness manifest because we know what is in man. John 2:25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.Being the sons of God, we are granted His divine judgment and His wisdom. Hebrews 4:13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. People go to great lengths with their tone of voice, and appearance to persuade others, usually to do evil. Their word are feigned or put-on of love, but evil is in thine own evil hearts. Nehemiah 6:8 Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
PART 1
Acts 12:5Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Peter was in a physical prison and ours with be a spiritual one. Being in prison applies to being in bondage to someone or something. Today millions are in bondage to entertainment. A generation of people who the only thing they know is what they have been taught by television. Spiritually I don’t understand what these next two [Matthew 11 :16-17] verses mean to God: but I know His grace is sufficient. 2 Corinthians 3:5not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. Yet, by the time I’m finished writing this letter I will be sufficient in Spiritual understanding in all verse we are looking at. Matthew 11 :16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 17 And saying, we have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. I’m not only trying to memorize this verse thus I can falsely claim I know it. A generation deals with our own Individual time on this earth; not a certain other people time period. Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption. My generation has been 70 years on this physical earth, and spiritually my corrupt way of seeing the Bible has been many. Spiritually I not only saw corruption but verbally spoke it about the words of God. Ephesians 4:29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. When we are spiritual children, we have not grew spiritually in the understanding of God’s words. The only other spiritual children we are trying to impress with our dancing and mourning are the same. Modern men value to much of what others think of them. But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. As I reflect back on it of 20 years of playing church: the only honour I sought was from other carnal minded Christians. Saint John was not trying to impress others by something physically he was doing or not doing. John11:18For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. God had to reveal to me the children in the marketplace were seeking attention or honor from each other and not God. John 5:44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? A question is asked here of all of us. We can’t receive God’s honor because we only love honor from others. A dear friend I once knew says she avoided award shows on television because it’s only rich people honoring each other, she was right. Men and women love to seek the honor that comes from each other, and not from God. The above scripture said God’s Honour is something to seek out. We honor Him by seeking out the Spiritual meaning of His word. Matthew 6:9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. When something or someone is hallowed: it is sat apart or very special. We simply do not reverence God’s words and have no fear of offending God with our own interpretation of it. Growing up as kids we reverence or respected our parents. 2 Samuel 16:11And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the Lord hath bidden him. Personally, my own sons from my own bowels have cursed me to my face. I’m reminded of king David: who own son tried to kill him. I left them alone for Lord hath allowed them.
We honor ourselves by seeking Letters of accommodation from other Churches and likeminded spiritually ignorant people. 2 Corinthians 3:1Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
